Çavuşköylü Cam was founded in 1968 by Mehmet Karapınar, starting with glass and mirror sales. In 1970, the company begun glass-surface processing to supply the furniture industry. In 1978, car glass sales and installation were started. Then, the machinery track was extended to include beveling, grinding, sand blasting, grooving and drilling machines. In the year 2000, Çavuşköylü Cam became a “Certified Thermopane Manufacturer” of the company Trakya Cam. In 2004, the fully automatic CNC glass cutting machine was added to the production line. 1000 m2 of indoor manufacturing area was added to the existing 1500 m2 of area in 2010. In 2015, the factory was moved to 4500 m2 of indoor area and 11000 outdoor area, increasing Çavuşköylü Cam’s competence in the industry. The company has then started tempered glass production to accommodate for the needs of the changing marketplace. The capability to temper coated glass has allowed the company to influence the exterior architecture glass market.
